We are excited to announce the newest product in our Green Tea Essentials line: the A E Skin Green Tea Firming Neck Cream. The A E Skin Green Tea Firming Neck Cream is an outstanding product to address a number of concerns on the neck.
While the face is the most common area for cosmetic treatment, don’t neglect the neck. The neck is immediately adjacent to the face and can be a dead giveaway of cosmetic enhancement when the face appears youthful but the neck looks aged. Some of the most common concerns in the neck area include uneven color, redness, irregular texture, loose skin, and wrinkles. Twice daily application of the A E Skin Green Tea Firming Neck Cream can improve many of these concerns in a few weeks.
The A E Skin Green Tea Firming Neck Cream contains green tea extract, which is one of the most powerful antioxidants to protect your skin from further sun damage. One of the most unique ingredients in the A E Skin Green Tea Firming Neck Cream is extract from the Edelweiss flower (Leontopodium alpinum). This unique flower is found in the European Alps and is able to survive extreme conditions such as cold temperature, high altitude, and high levels of solar radiation. The additional antioxidants in the Edelweiss flower extract sooth and calm the skin while providing further protection from the sun. It also contains phenolic acids and flavonoids to protect the skin from further environmental damage. The Edelweiss flower extract firms and lifts the skin, improving loose and saggy skin that is commonly seen in the neck over time.
The A E Skin Green Tea Firming Neck Cream contains many other key ingredients such as ceramides, peptides, niacinamide (vitamin B3), apple stem cells, botanical extracts, LYCD, and emollients. These ingredients serve a number of functions such as preventing water loss in the skin to provide hydration, soothing the skin, decreasing redness, improving irregular color, stimulating collagen to tighten the skin, improving the texture of the skin, and further protecting the skin from sun damage.
For a limited time, we are offering 25% off the A E Skin Green Tea Firming Neck Cream.
We are excited to announce our newest product in the A E Skin line of products: the Hydrating Lip Plumper.
The A E Skin Hydrating Lip Plumper is a product that has multiple functions to enhance and protect the lips. The A E Skin Hydrating Lip Plumper serves to provide an immediate plumping effect of the skin and enhances the natural rosy color of the lips. At the same time, the A E Skin Hydrating Lip Plumper provides hydration for the lips. In addition, the A E Skin Hydrating Lip Plumper contains broad spectrum SPF 30 to protect the lips from sun damage. Eighty-five percent of patients observed an instant decrease in fine line lines and wrinkles, 90% said their lips look fuller, and 100% a healthier and hydrated appearance with enhancement of the natural lip color.
Hyaluronic acid is included to hydrate the lips. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar found in the skin and elsewhere in the body that binds 1,000 times its weight in water. Hyaluronic acid draws water into the lips to provide hydration, which is particularly helpful in the dry, winter months. Hyaluronic acid is also the active ingredient in the Juvederm family of fillers which include Juvederm Ultra, Voluma, Vollure, and Volbella. By using high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, the water is retained on the lip’s surface, which keeps the moisture in the lips by forming a protective barrier. The A E Skin Hydrating Lip Plumper is the perfect complement for any filler in the lips.
Other ingredients in the A E Skin Hydrating Lip Plumper include peptides, niacinamide (vitamin B3), ceramides, and herbal vitamins and conditioners. Together these ingredients volumize and protect the lips by stimulating collagen production and nourishing the skin.
The A E Skin Hydrating Lip Plumper can be used as often as desired. When using, apply a generous coat to the entire lip surface, while staying inside the lip line. A temporary tingling sensation can be felt when the A E Skin Hydrating Lip Plumper is applied. The enhancement in terms of volume and color are seen within minutes and last one to two hours.
For a limited time, we are offering 25% off the A E Skin Hydrating Lip Plumper.
At AE Skin in Encino, CA, Dr. Alex Eshaghian and his dedicated team love to give people the refreshed youthful skin they long for. If you have sagging neck skin, furrows between your brows and facial age spots that make you feel older than you really are, then Dr. Alex can guide you to the skin care just right for you. One of his most innovative and effective services is fractional CO2 laser resurfacing which transforms facial appearance in as little as one in-office treatment.
What is Fractional CO2 Laser Resurfacing?
Dr. Alex Eshaghian offers this rejuvenation treatment to healthy adults who wish to improve the elasticity of the skin on their face, neck, hands and upper chest. Focused and intense beams of light, delivered through a handheld instrument, actually boost collagen production, the natural skin component which helps us look refreshed and youthful. In essence, these innovative laser treatments allow the body to rejuvenate itself.
Carefully applied by Dr. Alex, fractional CO2 Laser resurfacing:
- Smooths the look of fine lines and wrinkles
- Lightens age spots
- Minimizes the appearance of scars and birthmarks
- Brightness dullness and improves skin texture
- Refines large pores
Fully approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), this unique skincare treatment in Encino is open to adults who have realistic aesthetic goals for their appearance and who are in good overall health.
It happens in-office at AE Skin with a hand-held laser tool. The patient's skin is cleansed and an anesthetic cream applied. Comfortable eyewear protects the eyes during the entire treatment.
Typically, a complete treatment takes 15 to 30 minutes. It produces a reddened tone to the skin, similar to a mild sunburn. Some tightening results are obvious immediately; however, optimal changes develop gradually over several weeks to months.
After CO2 laser resurfacing
Right after treatment, the patient should expect to rest at home for a day or two. Ice to the treated areas helps reduce puffiness and redness,
and over the counter analgesics manage any discomfort. While laser skin resurfacing is not a permanent "fix," it does produce excellent aesthetic results and is easier than more invasive procedures such as the surgical facelift.
American Society of Plastic Surgeons says that almost a quarter million of these amazing procedures were performed in the US in 2016. About 40 percent were delivered to the 55 and older age group.
Need a new look?

In this case 54 units of Botox, two syringes of Voluma, three syringes of Vollure, and two syringes of Volbella were used. This treatment provides over 10 years of youth. Those who have the liquid facelift treatment state that they have increased confidence and enjoy their interactions with others more.
Liquid Facelift Testimonial
Botox is used in the non-surgical facelift to address wrinkles associated with facial expression. Usually this is in the upper face. The most common areas treated with Botox are the horizontal lines seen on the upped forehead when a person raises the eyebrows, the vertical lines seen between the eyebrows when a person frowns, and the crow’s feet seen around the eyes when a person smiles or squints. Typically, 50-60 units of Botox are used in this area. Botox can also be used in the lower face to relax muscles that pull the face downward. This will provide a further lift.
Fillers are used to restore lost volume in the skin. The Juvederm family of products is the most popular group of fillers in the United States for a number of reasons. First, the active ingredient in the Juvederm family is hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar found in the skin and elsewhere in the body. It binds 1,000 times its weight in water and draws water into the skin to fill the wrinkles and folds. It has a high safety margin because it can be dissolved in the case of undesired results or a rare adverse event. The Juvederm collection of fillers includes the Vycross family: Voluma, Vollure, and Volbella. These products use a new technology that allows patients to enjoy their results longer. It also provides very natural results.
Voluma is usually used in the upper cheeks to restore the apple of the cheeks. This provides a youthful appearance to the face and pulls up on the lower face. It can help improve the appearance of jowls and provide a more defined jawline. Voluma is a firm product and provides a noticeable but natural lift that is seen immediately. Unlike a traditional surgical facelift where only the skin is tightened, when using products such as Voluma, volume is restored to the face. Most people start with one syringe of Voluma per side, a conservative amount. The results of the Voluma treatment are assessed approximately two weeks later and more product can be added at that time if further enhancement is desired.
Vollure is the second filler used in the liquid facelift. Vollure is slightly softer than Voluma and is commonly used in the nasolabial folds (the lines that go from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth) and the marionette lines (the lines that go from the corners of the mouth to the jawline). Most people start with two to three syringes of Vollure in this area, a conservative amount. The results of a Vollure treatment are assessed approximately two weeks later and more product can be added at that time if further enhancement is desired.
Juvederm Ultra is the original Juvederm product that uses the previous Hylacross technology. Similar to Vollure, Juvederm Ultra is used in the nasolabial folds and marionette lines. The difference is that Juvederm Ultra contains a higher level of hyaluronic acid, which means it brings even more water into the skin. Juvederm Ultra is best suited for those who have deeper folds in this area. Most people start with two syringes (one per side) of Juvederm Ultra in this area, a conservative amount. The results of a Juvederm Ultra treatment are assessed approximately two weeks later and more Juvederm Ultra can be added at that time if further enhancement is desired.
Volbella is the softest filler available in the Juvederm collection of fillers. It is ideal to address fines lines on or around the lips as well as shaping the lips. Volbella can also be used to restore lost volume to the tear trough area. This is the area directly below the eyes where hollowing is commonly seen as people mature. Most people start with two syringes of Volbella in either of these areas, a conservative amount. The results of a Volbella treatment are assessed approximately two weeks later and more product can be added at that time if further enhancement is desired.
The liquid facelift is an ideal treatment for anyone who desires a more youthful appearance to make them look as good as they feel. When these treatments are combined, patients really love their results.
We are excited to now offer Ultra Microneedling.
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is one of the most exciting new cosmetic treatments available. During the treatment tiny needles are used to create thousands of pinpoint holes in the skin. This leads to improvement in uneven color, irregular texture, enlarged pores, acne scars, and fine lines and wrinkles. Microneedling is stronger than a facial or a light peel, but gentler than more aggressive laser treatments such as traditional fractional CO2 laser resurfacing. It is ideal for those who want to prevent premature aging or those desiring a simple maintenance treatment.
How does Microneedling work?
Microscopic holes are produced in the skin. Your body’s healing process reacts by stimulating collagen formation. Collagen is the protein in the skin that keeps the skin firm, tight, and youthful in appearance. As we mature over time, the levels of collagen in the skin decrease, leading to the formation of wrinkles and loose skin. The treatment stimulates your body for form it’s own natural, new, fresh, and healthy collagen, restoring the youthful radiance and firmness of the skin.
What conditions can be treated with Microneedling?
- Uneven color: dark spots, age spots, etc.
- Irregular or rough surface texture
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Loose skin
- Enlarged pores
- Acne scars
- Sun damage
- Stretch marks
What is the difference between traditional Microneedling and Ultra Microneedling?
Traditional microneedling works by using needles to physically create holes in the skin. Ultra microneedling creates the holes using a laser which has a number of advantages:
- Precision. Ultra Microneedling is more precise than traditional microneedling.
- Improved Results. Ultra Microneedling also creates heat in the skin, which helps to further stimulate collagen formation, leading to better results. Traditional microneedling does not create heat and does not stimulate as much collagen.
- Faster Recovery. The holes created with Ultra Microneedling are smaller than those with traditional microneedling; this allows for a shorter recovery period.
- Customization. With Ultra Microneedling a number of settings can be adjusted to customize the treatment for each individual. For example, the depth of the holes and space between holes can be adjusted, as well as the amount of heat generated. Ultra Microneedling is a medical grade treatment that is not to be performed by an aesthetician.
- No bleeding. When the laser is used, the heat generated prevents bleeding from occurring.
What areas can be treated with Ultra Microneedling?
Although the face is the most common area treated with Ultra Microneedling, it can be used to treat skin on any area of the body. Other common areas of treatment include the neck, chest, and backs of the hands.
How many Ultra Microneedling treatments will I need?
The number of treatments needed will vary from patient to patient. Most patients start with an initial series of six monthly treatments followed by one maintenance treatment every three months thereafter.
What will happen during the Ultra Microneedling treatment?
After the numbing cream is removed, the skin will be cleansed with solutions to sterilize and degrease the area. Your eyes will be protected with safety shields or glasses. Many people describe the sensation as the feeling of goosebumps on the skin. The procedure takes a few minutes.
Ultra Microneedling Treatment Demonstration
Will the Ultra Microneedling treatment be uncomfortable?
The procedure is gentle, noninvasive, and safe. At A E Skin we use a topical numbing cream for about 15 minutes prior to the Ultra Microneedling treatment to maximize your comfort. Unlike other offices, at A E Skin there is no extra charge for numbing cream and you do not need to arrive early to have the numbing cream applied.
What should I expect after an Ultra Microneedling treatment?
After an Ultra Microneedling treatment, the skin will be somewhat red and swollen for a few hours. Mild redness and swelling may persist for a few days or longer, depending on the settings used. We provide an aftercare kit to speed up the recovery process.
What aftercare do I need after an Ultra Microneedling treatment?
It is important to carefully follow the aftercare instructions. You will be sensitive to ultraviolet light and you must avoid direct sun exposure until completely healed. Fully cover your skin or use a sunscreen with SPF at least 30 with broad spectrum coverage every day. Avoid heat, alcohol, and exercise for at least 24 hours after the procedure, because this can draw blood to the skin and lead to unwanted side effects such as blisters and discoloration. The aftercare kit includes the Avene Thermal Spray Water and Elta MD Intense Moisturizer. The Avene Thermal Spray Water contains special minerals which helps with the recovery. Some people like to refrigerate it for more comfort. Spray the water onto the skin every few hours for the first three to seven days. While the skin is still damp, apply a thin layer of Elta MD Intense Moisturizer on the skin.
