Liquid Face Lift

The liquid facelift if one of our most popular treatments and patients love their results. The liquid facelift treatment uses multiple liquid products such as Botox,  Voluma, Vollure, Volbella and Kybella, often times in combination with other treatments and skin care products to improve wrinkles and restore lost volume to the face. As compared to a traditional surgical facelift, the liquid facelift does not involve anesthesia, surgery, or recovery. The liquid facelift treatment itself is customized for each person.

The patient whose picture is shown above also saw significant improvement in her skin with the liquid facelift. This patient received 54 units of Botox, seven syringes of Voluma distributed throughout the temples, cheeks, and jawline, three syringes of Vollure, distributed throughout the eyebrows, lower cheeks, and laugh lines (nasolabial folds), and two syringes of another filler called Revanesse Versa in the lower cheeks. She also had a series of six #nofilter treatments and used the A E Skin line of products to improve the quality of the skin. Her skin is no longer dull, instead it is luminous and glowing. Above is a picture of a patient who also saw significant improvement in her skin with the liquid facelift. She received 132 units of Botox, in the upper and lower face for wrinkles, migraine headaches, and to slim the lower face, four syringes of Voluma in the upper cheeks, and six vials of Kybella to treat the double chin. She also received three #nofilter treatments on the face and six laser skin tightening treatments on the neck. This was complemented by using the A E Skin line of products. Her facial features make her look younger, thinner, and less tired. Her eyebrows are lifted, her eyes are more open, her laugh lines (nasolabial folds) are improved, and her jawline is more defined. Above is a picture of a patient who saw natural improvement in her skin with the liquid facelift. She received 44 units of Botox in the upper face, two syringes of Voluma in the upper cheeks, two syringes of Vollure in the laugh lines (nasolabial folds), and one syringe of Volbella in the fine lines around the mouth. Her results are very natural. If you look closely you can see an improvement in the wrinkles on the forehead and between the eyebrows; this is from the Botox treatment. She also got a lift of the lower face from the Voluma treatment. She has significant improvement in the fines lines and wrinkles in the lower face from the Vollure and Volbella treatments.

This 62 year old female enjoyed a natural yet noticeable improvement in her appearance with a liquid facelift. She received two syringes of Voluma to restore the apples of the cheeks, two syringes of Vollure in the laugh lines (nasolabial folds) and around the mouth, two syringes of Volbella to enhance the lips and the fine lines around the lips, and 54 units of Botox to soften the wrinkles in the upper face. You can easily notice the improvement of the wrinkles on her forehead and the shape of her eyebrows. The liquid facelift also improved the appearance of her eyes and makes her look more rested and less tired. Botox

Botox is used in the non-surgical facelift to address wrinkles associated with facial expression. Usually this is in the upper face. The most common areas treated with Botox are the horizontal lines seen on the upped forehead when a person raises the eyebrows, the vertical lines seen between the eyebrows when a person frowns, and the crow’s feet seen around the eyes when a person smiles or squints. Typically, 50-60 units of Botox are used in this area. Botox can also be used in the lower face to slim the lower face as shown in example 3 above. Botox can also be used in the lower face to relax muscles that pull the face downward. This will provide a further lift.

Fillers

Fillers are used to restore lost volume in the skin. The Juvederm family of products is the most popular group of fillers in the United States for a number of reasons. First, the active ingredient in the Juvederm family is hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar found in the skin and elsewhere in the body. It binds 1,000 times its weight in water and draws water into the skin to fill the wrinkles and folds. It has a high safety margin because it can be dissolved in the case of undesired results or a rare adverse event. The Juvederm collection of fillers includes the Vycross family: Voluma, Vollure, and Volbella. These products use a new technology that allows patients to enjoy their results longer. It also provides very natural results.

Voluma

Voluma is most commonly used in the upper cheeks to restore the apple of the cheeks. This provides a youthful appearance to the face and pulls up on the lower face. It can help improve the appearance of jowls and provide a more defined jawline. Voluma is a firm product and provides a noticeable but natural lift that is seen immediately. Unlike a traditional surgical facelift where only the skin is tightened, when using products such as Voluma, volume is restored to the face. Most people start with one syringe of Voluma per side, a conservative amount. Voluma can also be used to fill in hollow temples, correct bumps on the nose, enhance a weak chin, and improve jawline definition. The results of the Voluma treatment are assessed approximately two weeks later and more product can be added at that time if further enhancement is desired.

Vollure

Vollure is the another filler used in the liquid facelift. Vollure is slightly softer than Voluma and is commonly used in the nasolabial folds (the lines that go from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth) and the marionette lines (the lines that go from the corners of the mouth to the jawline). Most people start with two syringes of Vollure in this area, a conservative amount. Vollure can also be used to improve hollowing under the eyes and to enhance the appearance of the lips. The results of a Vollure treatment are assessed approximately two weeks later and more product can be added at that time if further enhancement is desired.

Volbella

Volbella is the softest filler available in the Juvederm collection of fillers. It is ideal to address fines lines on or around the lips as well as shaping the lips. Most people start with two syringes of Volbella in either of these areas, a conservative amount. The results of a Volbella treatment are assessed approximately two weeks later and more product can be added at that time if further enhancement is desired.

Kybella

Kybella dissolves the fat in this area and improves the appearance of the double chin and at the same time improves the definition of the jawline. Kybella is the first and thus-far only FDA-approved, non-surgical, injectable treatment for the double chin. Kybella can also be used to treat stubborn fat in other areas such as the belly, the bra fat below the underams, and the banana roll under the butt. The active ingredient in Kybella is a salt found in the body that's used to digest the fat that you eat. When Kybella is placed in the skin it will dissolve the fat and the fat is naturally eliminated by your body over time. Swelling is normal and to be expected after a Kybella treatment. Most people require two to four Kybella sessions spaced every three months and the results are seen slowly over time. The best thing about Kybella is that unlike Botox and fillers, the results with Kybella are permanent so you won't need maintenance treatments.

The liquid facelift can also be combined with other treatments for even more enhancement. For example, a fractional CO2 laser resurfacing treatment will address the color and texture of the skin. For those who do not have a long time for recovery, a series of #nofilter treatments is perfect. A good skin care regimen such as products from the A E Skin line will enhance the results of all of these treatments. The liquid facelift is an ideal treatment for anyone who desires a more youthful appearance to make them look as good as they feel.
