We are excited to announce our educational webinar series. A webinar is a web-based seminar on a given topic that is available for viewing online either live or archived. We are creating webinars on a variety of topics. The target audience of these webinars is people interested in cosmetic and aesthetic services as well as health and wellness. The duration of webinars is variable but is usually 30-45 minutes in length.
It is my pleasure to invite you to participate in a webinar on a topic of your choice.
Creating a webinar is an outstanding opportunity to demonstrate expertise on a topic. This builds trust for patients and is great content for marketing purposes.
The goals of a webinar are to educate patients, to provide awareness of the topic, and to attract and acquire new patients.
To prepare for a webinar, first select a topic to discuss. With the topic include questions to discuss. Keep in mind that the target audience is patients. Therefore, select questions that patients will ask. For example, “Is the treatment comfortable?” Preparing a brief powerpoint presentation is helpful. The presentation can include text, relevant images, before and after photographs, testimonials, videos (or links to videos available online), etc. Note that the webinar will be available on the internet for people to view. Therefore, documentation of informed consent is required if using patient images in pictures or videos.
The webinars use the Zoom platform. This is an easy to use platform that allows one to display a video of presenters speaking as well as sharing a screen to demonstrate slides, pictures, videos, etc. The software may be downloaded for use. But this is not necessary; it can be used simply through a web browser such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.
Find a place to record the video that is quiet and has good lighting available. Plan for a 5-10 minute test run at least a day before to ensure that slides, videos, pictures, etc. are displayed appropriately and that there are no technical difficulties.
It is also useful to have some information about you available (see this example) and a headshot photograph for introduction at the start of the webinar.
We are very flexible in terms of scheduling webinars. Please let us know days and times that are most convenient for you.
The webinar may be wither live or pre-recorded. In the event that it is live, guests will be able to watch the webinar in real time and interact by asking questions. With live webinars there is the ability to simultaneously broadcast it on other platforms such as Facebook or Youtube, which will broaden the reach. Additionally, invitations can be sent to patients in advance via e-mail social media, etc. for them to watch live.
All webinars will be archived for viewing at a later time. The links will be available to distribute for marketing and educational purposes.
Please see links to examples of previous webinars below.
Please contact me directly via e-mail ([email protected]) at your convenience to schedule a webinar or should you have any questions.
I look forward to working with you.
